One of the most common questions people have in a salon is: How often should I be coloring my hair? There's no exact magic number we can give you BUT we have some recommendations that will help you sort out your schedule. For a typical root touch up we recommend visiting the salon every four to six weeks. Depending on your hair growth is where you will fall in that time frame. For a highlight service we recommend visiting the salon every 10 to 12 weeks, but this will also depend on your hair growth. It is important to maintain your regular appointments so not only can keep your color fresh, vibrant and looking beautiful. With a service like balayage, you can go every 12-16 weeks, depending on your hair goals. This is something that we would discuss in depth with you during your consultation. If you feel like you need a little pick me up but aren't due for a color yet, give us a call and ask for a glaze to refresh your color in between visits, sometimes that will do the trick! A...

We've all been there: you brush your hair after showering and want to cry at how much hair you see on your hairbrush. That's where this line comes in to save the day! Second to chemical damage, mechanical breakage due to brushing is more common than you think, and Kerastase has a solution for that! Skin type is determined by genetics, but the condition of our skin can vary depending on internal and external factors. Everyone has their unique skin type, and based on which one you have, is how you should choose the proper products for your skin. Choosing the right products for you is vital. This is important not only to select effective products but also to ensure you aren't picking anything that will irritate your skin but something that will complement it. The Four Skin Types Normal- not dry or oily, is primarily blemish-free, has an even tone and texture, and minimal pores. Oily- has a greasy and shiny appearance, is prone to acne and blemishes, and has larger pores.
