Christina working on a model with a Sassoon Educator Sassoon has been at the forefront of high quality hair cutting and styling education for more than 50 years. The leading edge of this education is the world renowned ABC - Cutting Hair the Sassoon Way system. Elite Hair Studio and Spa stylists Cristina and Gosia are right now attending the ABC cutting workshop at the Sassoon Academy in Santa Monica. Vidal Sassoon cutting Mia Farrow's hair for her role in Rosemary's Baby Yesterday Vidal Sassoon passed away at the age of 84 in Los Angeles. He was a profound inspiration to us at Elite Hair Studio. He will be missed and his work and creative genius will forever be remembered. With his revolutionary hair styling for women, pioneering sleek, geometric and precise cuts, he inspired whole generations of hairdressers and designers. "His designs have shaped the late 20th Century," Richard Martin and Harold Korda, curators at Metropolitan Museum of Art, wrote in the introduction to the 1993 book "Vidal Sassoon, Fifty Years Ahead." He brought "modernism to the medium of hair," they wrote. Vidal spun off a whole industry around Sassoon products, salons and teaching academies.     We just came back from Chicago where we attended the 2012 ABS and Stylist Choice Awards. Ewa, Dorota and Marta spent three days there to check out the latest trends in hair-styling, beauty products and accessories. We were very impressed by all the various company stages and the work of the designers and hairdressers. On the Sassoon stage we took a closer look at their new collection, the  Tribe III  that was inspired by the London Underground Fashion Scene. The Sassoon Creative team presented amazing cuts and colors that can be used to create a modern and unique look just for you. Please check our website for services and appointments.
