With temperatures again in the 60s and spring officially starting on March 20th we are quickly approaching the season of festivities and special occasions. Easter, communions, weddings and proms are all great opportunities to try out and shine with new and fabulous hairstyles.

Today I want to give an overview of the latest trends in Updos. An Updo is a hair style that involves arranging the hair instead of allowing it to fall freely. Well recognized styles include the "Beehive", the "French Twist" and various forms of Buns. With a professionally arranged Updo you can be sure that your hairstyle looks great and lasts for a long time. At the 2012 American Beauty Show several new trends for updos were presented. Aquage presented some very creative looks on their Biomega styling stage. I very much liked the ornamented variation of the french twist with the beautifully placed accessories as well as the extremely difficult and complex braids. But even their plain Beehive with wonderfully symmetrical braids is simply gorgeous.
