How often should you color your hair?

One of the most common questions people have in a salon is: How often should I be coloring my hair? There's no exact magic number we can give you BUT we have some recommendations that will help you sort out your schedule. For a typical root touch up we recommend visiting the salon every four to six weeks. Depending on your hair growth is where you will fall in that time frame. Use the daily fortifying serum with 4 doses on dry or towel-dried scalp and leave in for extra nourishment and breakage prevention. Last but certainly not least, make sure you are using the Genesis mask once a week, twice if you're feeling generous! This will provide extra hydration and help repair dam...

Food for thought 🥑🍍🍋

Nutrition plays a vital role in maintaining skin health, and a well-balanced diet can significantly impact the appearance, texture, and overall condition of your skin. Key Ways Nutrition Impacts Skin Health: Collagen Production: Collagen is a protein that gives skin its structure, elasticity, and firmness. Certain nutrients, such as vitamin C, are essential for collagen synthesis, helping to maintain the skin’s youthful appearance. Antioxidant Protection: Antioxidants help protect the skin from damage caused by free radicals—unstable molecules that can lead to premature aging, wrinkles, and an increased risk of skin cancer. A diet rich in antioxidants can help neutralize free radicals and protect the skin. Hydration: Hydrated skin is healthy skin. Consuming enough water and foods with high water content helps maintain the skin’s moisture balance, keeping it soft, smoo...
